Ok, I leave in a week for the playa. I am having a hard time not "squeee"ing in public places.

So... Squeee thread! ( http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=squeeee that definition applies to fan-boys too.)

While the chosen term recalls my childish ways of... less than ten years ago, I totally agree with the sentiment.

I am so stoked! And I don't know anyone who is going so I have to squee alone. I am super distracted at work and am hemorrhaging money in preparation.

Some people pick their own. I don't hang out with those people. :p

Playa names are usually given to you by someone else based on a crazy story, silly first impression, etc. You'll likely get hung with several before you stick with the one that feels right. I was given four last year by total strangers before I started introducing myself with one that felt like me.

Also, 25 hours till I hit the road. Packing the truck tonight and that's all I can think about. Work today is a total loss. Squee.

Spent yesterday helping the rest of Hardware load up the truck...and we're off! We should be on the playa this time tomorrow! *celebrates*

Now to play "spot the other Burner cars" on the freeway.
