Long story short, at my first burn a guy who was one of this camp's organizer lent me a tent, introduced me to the camp, and was super interested in the fact that I was 12 years younger and first time on my own traveling to such a big event. Basically raped without consent. Then lovebombed like crazy to the extent and being at my first burn completely overwhelmed, I thought it must've been love. Anyways through a series of crazy tactics,including him telling me he was sexually abused as a kid to keep me silent and constantly saying he'll hurt me, it took ten years to get away from him. When I finally reached out to the camp to tell them about him, the organizers tried to hush me. They told me they'll deal with for 6 months just every week "we'll deal with it promise" without doing a thing. When I finally said to the organizers, I'm going to tell other people outside the camp about what happened with this guy because you're not helping me and you're not guaranteeing other women's safety, the organizer told me, "you're going to ruin everything I've built for years, I work really hard on this camp". And I said we'll you should do the right thing then but I stopped talking to them completely.


So this is to let especially newbies know, don't interact with camp Planned Playahood, they pretend to be about women's reproductive rights and about women having their own agency over their own body which is why they named the camp that, they say they're democrats they're all about strong women but when push comes to shove, they would rather tell a woman that her story about an abusive man within their group should be kept quiet rather than to state vehemently that the abusive man be decried, and told to leave.


Planned Playahood has at least one maybe more rapists in their group.


Also on how they think of women, one of the organizers named Mark McBride, actually once told me "I will tell that guy that as his woman to not let you go to the burn with our group."


That's the kind of controlling creeps that are in that camp.

Nevada law is much stricter than many states. The Black Rock Rangers are mandatory reporters of sex crimes despite rumors to the contrary. Anyone needing help on playa in the moment can ask for them and it gets escalated very quickly.
