Pretty wierd. that someone comes on this thread that has been declared dead over and over, to try to stir up some worthless bullshit over a non-existant reason.

Asked a few of my friends ("Of Color", ™©2006 Friends of BBS of Color, Inc., Ltd. All rights reserved FOBBSOC.) why they didn't go to things like Burning man - (Yes, no shit, I really *did* ask some of my friends) - their reply - (Paraphrased for brevity) - "That thing you gotta pay money to go out in the middle of the desert in the middle of summer? Are you farking nuts?"

Or... "Yeah, I'm going this year - sounds like a lot of fun."

Or... "Naw, goin' to Vegas - If I'm gonna be hot and miserable, I'm gonna have fun doing it."

Some go. And have fun. Others don't. But when you start asking really farking stupid questions like "Uhhh, Geee, Why don't people of color go to Burning man, why is it so white, etc." you really start sounding like a racist (make that "stupid farking racist") who no one in their right mind would give ANY farking credence whatsooever. IF it's such a big deal - promote it. Or is it simply a trigger issue you can stir up bullshit over, with no other REAL reason than to make yourself feel good by trying to make others feel bad????

I'm outta this thread - it's so farking dumb I don't know why I'm wasting my time even posting to it. (And if this were the "Fuck" thread I wouldn't have wrote "Fark" in place of it.)

In 97 I saw a whole black family that was totally dressed like some tribe of Sudanese desert nomads, straight out of Nat Geo.

Actually they were desert nomads. They took a wrong turn while following some guy in a bunny suit who was looking for Pismo* Beach
