Overused Music on the Playa?

Last year I saw a truly great band called Free Peoples at Easel Park Camp. They play original music. It's organic, very diverse. Great songs, lyrics and arrangements and outstanding musicianship and cool people too, of course. People were pretty much blown away by the band last year and everybody seemed to stick around for the entire show (one really long set). The musicians in the audience were especially impressed.

In 2006 they are scheduled to play at Easel Park on Thursday, 8/31 at 9:00 PM and at Ganesh on Friday, 9/1 at 10:00 PM. It's a nice break from the more typical music of the playa.
