Yup, it's live. But they forgot to take it out of demo mode. Must be a new camera, I understand it comes out of the box set to demo mode.

It keeps flipping back and forth between:
playa for about 15 seconds.
Diagnostic mode with SONY in big letters. for about 60 seconds.

those on the playa are aware they're down - they're working on it

So high tech and "smart" that normal humans can't get it out of demo mode.
Like the microwave that the professor at Stanford with a Nobel prize in physics couldn't operate.
