Hahahahahahaha, sitting in a hotel in Reno, woken early by a robot call from my credit card company alerting me to "fraudulent activity" on my account, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck I forgot to tell then I would be traveling, hoping they will sort it out before I present that card at Total Wine. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

This thread is making me feel so much better about the craziness that is going on in my head this week! I'm literally not sleeping right. It is so fucking weird to be planning and preparing for something you have never experienced before!! So, yes, I'm bringing a ridiculous amount of stuff because I am lucky enough to live just 4 hours from the Playa. But that is a blessing and a curse because there is basically no limit to what we can bring and the list keeps growing! 4 more days!!!!!!!!

I know the feeling - I keep a pad and pen on the night stand. Sometimes it's a challenge to try to decipher what you wrote the next morning :-) Last night I had scribbled - tie "large" wraps. At least I knew what that one meant - heavy duty tie wraps :-)

Me too. Lately the list just includes things to grab out of the kitchen... right now it just has "Wine glasses, cork screw, advil" come to think of it, those may be the most important things of all, and I saved them for last.

I'll be so glad to be leaving in the morning, but the 33 hour trip from New Orleans is not something we are looking foreword to.

I might need a little adhoc sewing job done - a few buttons, but the button holes (or loops I should say) are out of my skill set. Is it acceptable to assume someone at a costume tent can help? Not that it'd be necessary but I'll be making a donation of some garb I don't need.
