He should come a week after before the BM doer's get there so he won't get in the way. Or check out the empty playa in May when the weather is nicer.

I have gotten hom out there in October every year for the land speed attempts, I also have opportunity to get to to the playa before BRC is built - and after. Quite a process. I love seeing the time lapse videos of this process.
