We have a missing kid here, people. If anyone sees a ten year old boy with blond hair, tan shorts, no shirt, teva-like sandals riding a blue bike, please send him to a Ranger. Please pass this message on as not everyone is in hearing range of this announcement. Thanks.

What sucked about that one was how the lack of communication between two parents caused a considerable amount of delay for people leaving the city early. When a kid is reported lost all exits from Black Rock City are locked down and no one leaves.

Justin? The very same kid who was missing the night of the temple burn? If so, I vote Justin stays home next year.

I vote that both parents stay home. The kid was never lost. He was with his dad all the time. The two parents never bothered to let each other know what was going on, who was going where, etc. As a result the mother reports the boy lost which in turn shuts down Black Rock City, diverts 50% of available Rangers to looking for a kid during the largest structural burn ever set fire at Burningman which in turn left a burn perimeter that was compromised.

Lost kids have become a problem damn near exponential to all other complaints to the Rangers.
