playa santa party

every time i see a santa or an elf i think of the playa santa party. it was waaaay fun...singing carols in the warm night, drinking some wicked jolly concoction, the elves banding together and telling the santas they'd be nowhere without us, and finally a-maraudering around the esplanade....

in truckee last weekend, i saw a bunch of santas doing much the same...bar hopping and singing. even though it was snowing, i was instantly homesick.

Santa's rampage 2006

Wednesday night was supposed to be the annual Santa's Rampage starting out from the 9 o'clock plaza. A few Santas and elves showed up, but most were lost in a very short time.
Proved to be an exciting night for ME, but they always are...LOL.

Am "planning" to have a Santa's Sleigh this year, due to limited mobility from wandering the playa last year.

Hope to see you all out there.

VeryBadSanta's Paddle will also be returning for those that wish to redeem the Spank Me coupons from the Gate...LOL.

And who knows, strange things do happen on the playa, you faux-Santas might even get lucky (if ya' know what I'm sayin' - wink-wink) and get a chance to meet (meat?) the REAL Santa Claus: Pimpin' Santa.

It was on the schedule, in fact, it was the first one listed at 6 p.m. They took it down to do some editing, and haven't reposted it. It should be up sometime later this week. Yeah, our Meet & Greet gives (at least the likes of me) a much better shot at getting lucky than Santacon.
