Murder at Burningman

Post by HEADBANDMAN » Mon Sep 01, 2008 10:48 pm

I was getting an Indian Taco on my way back and I over heard some one say that two people were murdered in 2007 is that correct?

One guy committed suicide. Never heard of a murder at Burning Man.

A check of various crime statistics databases going back to 2001 shows no homicides in Black Rock City. Suicides, unfortunately are another story.

Yes you are correct my good eplayan... heres how it went...

There was a fat man and a small man having a row about some missing E. The small man stabbed the fat man in the eye with a spork causing him to have a heart attack since it was his one good eye. During the heart attack the fat man fell on the small man trapping and suffocating him to death. When some folks from the Death Guild stumbled across the pair on the deep playa one of em said hey lets have a BBQ. They were both cooked on the CarBQue and gifted to folks as roast pork. It was indeed very tasty and on the whole it keeps law enforcement of our collective backs when we handle our dirty laundry internally.

There were two fictional books that involved murders at burning man. Perhaps they read them.

What's the second one?

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

Other one was Eye of the Burning Man. Not nearly as good as The Man Burns Tonight. They don't even get to Burning Man until about 2/3 through the book.
