The real answer to your question is that it cannot be answered, it's one of those thigns that no one could EVER possibly know, like, why is the sky blue? or why do some people have weiners and others dont?

There is far too much stuff going on that no one will ever know what really happens, i didnt even know there were sheep there until this morning!

It's all a part of the Conspiracy. People think that the Bilderberg Group or the attendees at Bohemian Grove set the world agenda-- that's all bullshit! A clever screen thrown up by Larry Harvey & Co.

Burning Man is actually a meeting of the True Secret Rulers of the World. Everything from the drug output of the Golden Triangle to the price of oil from the mid-East is decided during the week. The Man burning is just a clever way to dispose of all of the evidence. (Paper notes, tape recordings, etc are what is inside the structure. At least part of the fireworks are the ultra-high tech, not available to the general public, batteries in the recorders going off.)

The secret history of the event can be traced back to pre-Roman Europe, where the Celts would burn the effigy of a man (and, sometimes, a sheep) at the end of the meetings of all of the Clans. When the Romans invaded, they were forced to disguise their meetings as some sort of orgy of excess. The tradition has continued since then, moving to other parts of the world every century or so, to avoid suspicion.

Incidentally, thanks to technology brought to Earth by the Greys, many of the leaders of Burning Man are actually the same as the attendees of the pre-Roman, Celtic event. The occasional departures and changes of leadership are all faked. A few years later the same person is back, but with a different identity. (The tradition of costumes greatly helps, too.)

I've already said too much. A black helicopter has just landed in the parking lot, and someone is pounding on the door...

That is because there really ARE stupid questions--to spite what you have been previously told.

well you've been doing a good job so far!

Many of the questions in your posts have been asked and answered MANY times before; which is why those questions tend to be answered with snarkyness.

Welcome to eplaya! :D

there is that old saying "there are no stupid questions" as you point out above, we all know that is not true, but we can at least agree that the "stupid questions" are the easiest to answer! The way I deal with that with children is to tell them to, "look it up"!!

Your original question is so vague as to defy an easy answer, hence the huge volume of snark! You are as responsible for what goes on at Burning Man as anyone! What do you want to have go on? Make it so!
A plan is what you vary from.

Destiny Lounge has been proven to cause cuteness in small kittens.

oh, sorry if i confused anyone. :? This thread is not based on my question.

my only question, put as tamely as i can think of, was "how accessible is the kool-aid"

I am easily confused...

They keep the kool-aid in these cool little houses set in long rows. Bring a ladle.

Actually, my impression was that nothing taking place at burning man is exactly logical.

so....this must therefore make sense right? to IFs make an OR?

I cant wait to experience this in person. It seems so spectacularily beyond words.

And, this, my dear sir, is the answer to your question.

oh noes! not dust!

is it actually dust, or sand? cuz in toronto, dust is essentially all the little airbourne particles of crap that settle down after aout a week of floating around. (ie bite of kleenex particles, dead skin, etc)
