Burning Man Art Cars recreated in Spore

Post by leaglealien » Thu Jan 07, 2010 6:28 am

Hi everyone,

I've attended BM the last three years with my son, who's now 14. We camp in Kidsville; it's the centerpiece of our calendar. This year, my son, who is a natural burner and who is especially intrigued and fascinated each year by the art cars, decided to recreate the BM experience, and specifically some of the art cars, in a 3DSpore video once he got home. It turned out to be a four month project but now that it's completed, I'm keen to share it with fellow BUrners, especially anyone involved in the art cars/mutant vehicles. You can see his Galactic Adventures: Burning Man Art Cars 09 @

If there is a specific external web site anywhere for BM art cars, or if anyone knows the name of the two vehicles that are currently un-named, please let us know.

Thanks for watching

Way cool! FYI, Unknown Name #1 is the Funk Yeah!. And the Fire Organ is also known as Satan's Calliope.
