absolutely! but don't expect logic and reason and sensibility to change the burner-mindset: "bad men out to get me" (women). "bad men out to get our women" (men).
it's how burners bond - i'm-a-victim meets i'll-protect-you, and then they get married.
most hipsters and yupsters (ie burners) don't frequently do drugs any more intense than half a hit of ecstasy in a safe environment. so when they get out on the playa and start to feel a bit spaced-out (due to sleep depravation, dehydration, and general playa stress), the princess automatically leaps to the conclusion that bad spray-bottle-man dosed her way to the porta-potties. this is a much more sensible explanation to the hipster-brain than perhaps the little darling should be taking better care of herself (which would require personal responsibility, so you see...).
sounding the 'i've been dosed alert' is also a signal to the male hipsters in camp to come to her rescue (also secures forgiveness from other females in camp who were getting sick & tired of her). the boy who effectively rescues the damsel, gets to marry her on saturday night before the burn (although she won't be having sex with him - she'll be having sex with the guy in the next camp who has the best drugs).
the 'LSD in the spray bottle legend' serves too many positive purposes. it also helps groups and single women vilify innocent single men (the common enemy - very important to have in a 'community').
