The Feely Box
Did anyone else see or experience the feely box? Tell your story. Were you inside, outside or both? Alone or with a friend. Tell your experiences or something you heard about the feely box.
I had the "out of the box experience" ...
I was riding my bike and someone with a mega phone beckoned me to the feely box. I slid my arm in one of the red-felt-lined holes.
it's a manly man in there!
I went perusing for a munchie, and found a friendly camp with a huge box of cashews. I returned to the box and put in my hand in at a hole at head level.
Yup. I had that manly man eatin' right out of my hand!

a little trepidation
I was also beckoned to the feely box. Reached my hand in and I believe there was a woman in there. I got too nervous to really check
so I just gave her a massage. Was I suppose to just grope freely? I never knew. I hoped the massage was nice for whomever.

Now in feel-around
I was directed to the feely box and after a bit of probing discovered a giggling woman inside whom was very much enjoying the attention...
I brushed a nipple, got a shiver and another giggle, and went merrilly on my way down the playa, with a smile on my face for the next hour...
Bless you, feely boxers!

As one of the camp member who hosted the feely box we would like to thank everyone who stopped in to make it such a success. We were gifted with amazing stories from those who experienced it or just watched others use it. We are planning to bring it back with us next year and would love to hear any feedback about changes we could do or any other ideas you have. When we first decided to do this for our project this year none of us imagined that we would actually get volunteers to be inside of the box....imagine our surprise when we would actually have a line of people waiting to get their turn inside. We would also like to thank Grace and Sunshine for getting married in our little feely box and thank everyone who joined in their celebration. Our neighbors spent the week listening to my carnival barking to invite participation without a complaint, thank you also for that. I got to live out a dream of mine, strutting the street with a megaphone in hand.
One last shout out to Voodoo Camp our neighbors across the street for all of the support and joining in on our fun.
Bring it to Decompression!
A couple of years ago at the Decompression party there was a structure, kind of a labyrinth, made of light fabric hanging from a wooden framework which reached from above eye level to the ground. As you walked through, you had the opportunity to both touch and be touched by whomever was on the other side of the fabric wall. It was most delicious!
Your Feely Box sounds similar, though obviously different in that a single person is the object of everyone else's touch. Marvelous!

I got to experience the box twice.
The first time was on the Doomacratik Republik of Gigsville's Pie-Raid. Unfortunatly, those of us in the Pie-Raid found no pie in the box (but we found plentiudes of pie elsewhere in BRC)
The second time I was on my way to center camp and was coxed into putting my hand in the box.
Hopefully the woman who's nipples I pinched found it pleasant
Thank you. That was a nice detour while on my way to meet some friends.
Next time I would happy to volunteer some time in the box...
p.s. BTW the porn clown posse http://www.pornclownposse.com/ also has a Grope-a-Clown box as well...

Is there a pic of the feely box posted anywhere? I'd been thinking about a similar idea before going to the burn, but was too busy with our art car to think about pursuing it. I'd love to see how your idea was constructed-- and happy to see it was a success. I'm not surprised you had volunteers, I would've if I'd happened across your camp, Sorry I missed you--I'll bet your carnival barking was top notch too!
Incidentally, Flight2Mars had the groping through fabric maze incorporated into part of it's structure, along with some "grope" sleeves in another hallway.

I was riding my bike by the Feely Box and noticed a guy reaching in. I assumed someone was in the box so I wondered "who". So I stopped to reach in. I first put my hand in at shoulder level. It seemed I touched the back of a guy wearing a shirt. To find out more I put my hands in another side of the box. To my surprise I touched a totally different body type that was not wearing a shirt. So it seemed there were two people in the box. The guy already there was totally confused and could not figure it out (he told me he was confused--that was his story anyway). I reach in another hole and noticed that the two had their arms wrapped around each other in a full frontal hug. All the time I could hear the woman moaning (making pleased noise). That is when I felt the humping. They were totally humping while the original guy was feeling and then with me reaching in. Once I figured out what was going on I left, but afterwards wished I stayed and "played" more feely with them.

The Feely Box sounds like a great idea ... perhaps similars could be built for regional BM events. Can you describe in more detail?
Also, what camp was this in? Assuming you will be bringing it back by popular demand at BM04 (maybe bigger & better), I'd like to check it out.
An amazing feat to have created something that no one in this prickly eplaya-world has found a way to criticize!

I didn't see the feely box at BMan, but there was one at a fetish ball that I went to. It was a lot of fun being outside the box reaching in and being inside the box. My experience was that it was okay to touch anything and everrything that is inside the box. Being inside the box also meant that you got touched everywhere. Not knowing who the people were that were touching you was a big part of the fun. If you haven't tried it don't pass it up next time.

For Reference:
A number of disciples went to the Buddha and said, "Sir, there are living here in Savatthi many wandering hermits and scholars who indulge in constant dispute, some saying that the world is infinite and eternal and others that it is finite and not eternal, some saying that the soul dies with the body and others that it lives on forever, and so forth. What, Sir, would you say concerning them?"
The Buddha answered, "Once upon a time there was a certain raja who called to his servant and said, 'Come, good fellow, go and gather together in one place all the men of Savatthi who were born blind... and show them an elephant.' 'Very good, sire,' replied the servant, and he did as he was told. He said to the blind men assembled there, 'Here is an elephant,' and to one man he presented the head of the elephant, to another its ears, to another a tusk, to another the trunk, the foot, back, tail, and tuft of the tail, saying to each one that that was the elephant.
"When the blind men had felt the elephant, the raja went to each of them and said to each, 'Well, blind man, have you seen the elephant? Tell me, what sort of thing is an elephant?'
"Thereupon the men who were presented with the head answered, 'Sire, an elephant is like a pot.' And the men who had observed the ear replied, 'An elephant is like a winnowing basket.' Those who had been presented with a tusk said it was a ploughshare. Those who knew only the trunk said it was a plough; others said the body was a grainery; the foot, a pillar; the back, a mortar; the tail, a pestle, the tuft of the tail, a brush.
"Then they began to quarrel, shouting, 'Yes it is!' 'No, it is not!' 'An elephant is not that!' 'Yes, it's like that!' and so on, till they came to blows over the matter.
"Brethren, the raja was delighted with the scene.
"Just so are these preachers and scholars holding various views blind and unseeing.... In their ignorance they are by nature quarrelsome, wrangling, and disputatious, each maintaining reality is thus and thus."
Then the Exalted One rendered this meaning by uttering this verse of uplift,
O how they cling and wrangle, some who claim
For preacher and monk the honored name!
For, quarreling, each to his view they cling.
Such folk see only one side of a thing.

Hello from 2 Brides and a Tribe....yes our happy little camp will be bringing back the feely box to BRC.
To Apollonaris....I think you might be missing the point...it's not a 'grabbing' box...it is a feely box. Your jewels will be safe. You are more than welcome to use rubber gloves if that is your thing, although you might just miss out on what the feely box is about. I would love for you to stop by, so that I can personally give you a tour and let you have a new experience that will make you forget all about those silly gloves.

Just wanted to send a reminder and invitation to all that are looking for the feely box this year. We are located at 2:30 and Venus under the camp name of 2 Brides and a Tribe. We look forward to all returning 'volunteers' for the box and look forward to all that want to try a new experience. Yes this is an eighteen years and older experience. If you have a child with you please dont stop by the camp if the feely box is operating. Not that we dont like kids...just that we dont want to give the local LEO's any reason to halt our fun.
BTW we had a marriage performed inside of the box last year and lost contact with the young couple...please stop by the camp if you see this. We have some wedding photos for you, and we of course would like to hear how the first year went.

I love that elephant story! I've posted it on another board where people are discussing their different experiences of a weekend party I was just at.
The feely box sounds great! I may have to go there and get felt up.
