Flaming Lotus Girls Egg Show in the world

This is a story that's got one foot on the playa, and one foot in Defaultia. Participants at Burning Man 2016 couldn't miss the Flaming Lotus Girls' amazing fire art masterpiece, The Serpent Mother. Not only is a 150' long fire-breathing articulated serpent hard to miss, but it was sure bright and warm on all those cold nights (if anybody's got some great pics or video of Serpent Mother, please post 'em below). It was amazing, and featured a several-times-nightly performance of what I think of as "the egg show" - the steel egg that Serpent Mother is protecting opens up, and giant jets of multi-colored flames shoot forth into the sky. Really great stuff.

Well, months and months later, and the Flaming Lotus Girls go on a trip. They go off to the Western Pyrotechnics Association's 'WinterBlast' event, held recently in Arizona, and they bring the egg with them. Even more awesome, the FLG crew gives a talk on their tools, their tech, their art, and their performance... and then they get to show it off to some of the best of the best in the world of pyrotechnics. And below, you can check out that performance, which was done in connection with another group. It's a really cool example of synchronizing fireworks and flame effects.

Cheers and kudos to the Flaming Lotus Girls. I've been a fan of Serpent Mother since 2006, and was beside myself with excitement that it was back last year...and the egg show blew me away every single time. Once I finally finish going through all my pics and video from last year I'll circle back and post some shots I got, but in the mean time please feel free to add what you've got.
