Researching the history of 8:30/C

Dearest neighbors,
I want to gather some historical perspective on our corner at 8:30/C.
Everything I find, I will present in form of a book, and this will be the first history book in the Menagerie Village library.

l intend to thoroughly dig through archives for obvious information, like what the C street was called during different years, and how exactly it intersected 8:30.
I hope to find some information about what camps were there during different years, but this will probably be very difficult, as such information is personal to sectors and blocks and camps, and is not well indexed.

Please help me find more information.

If you know someone who lived at 8:30/C at any point in the past, please direct me to them. Please give them my email, and this could jumpstart a simple google chat, and we'll exchange remarks and get to meet on the playa.
If you didn't live there, but had a significant experience on this corner, please share.

If you've saved your paper maps on which you scribbled your own notes, maybe there's some info on 8:30/C in these maps.
Maybe you've saved "what where when" books from past years, and scribbled notes there.

Maybe you should create a wiki or similar, post all your research results and discoveries and then ask the community to help fill in the blanks?

Sounds awful dubious that you intend to search at some point but want others to do research before hand for you.

Maybe it's just a poorly formatted request, but it reeks of "please do my homework for me" post.

You may want to fix that.

It's a cool idea, you just need to plan this out a bit and make it inviting for participation.

I don't think C has ever been Cattywampus, but it certainly should be.

I hear you. It is indeed an imperfectly phrased request.
There is also a bit of a language barrier. My primary language isn't English.

But, most importantly, posting research to wiki is an idea, which naturally wouldn't have occured to me.
I'm so used to doing everything in ink. Thank you.

Just starting an empty wiki page seems weak.
Like I said earlier, I will dig myself for whatever I can find, and if I find enough interesting things, a wiki page sounds excellent.

I'm not asking people to do my homework. I'm asking if anyone has any memories which are dear to them, but completely unindexed anywhere.

It doesn't sound any weaker than asking others to do your homework for you, does it? I think that if you started with a blank wiki that you set up with the bones of a structure (years), and had an awesome and excited 'main page' introduction, you might be more inclined to get more participation - since users would immediately have visibility on what others posted (as well as their own contributions), versus "email me your stuff and I'll do something with it someday."
