Any camps with stripper poles?

Post by Taz » Mon Mar 28, 2005 8:34 am

Are there any theme camps bringing a stripper pole with them this year? Any care to syndicate with an instructor?

I'm sure we could build one if we arrive and there is not! I've found new brass poles rather difficult to get ahold of without a lot of $$ but I'll keep my eyes on the scrap yard if you bring the lumber :-)

we do not party without a pole. Transcendent FunKtions camp has evolved to 'the Church of IZO' and yes brothers & sisters of the IZOlution, WE WILL HAVE A POLE (or three).

POLE

Post by nostratomas » Tue Mar 29, 2005 12:35 am

but as far as instructors go...I'm not sure about that one. What club do you currently work at? How long have you been stripping? are you're breast real? do you work at a topless or totally nude club? do they serve booze? what sort of drug combination do you prefer?

the pole question

Post by nostratomas » Tue Mar 29, 2005 11:09 am

from Taz (offline) "First of all Nostratomas, I am not a stripper . I am not even a woman. I don't work at a club. I have taught the pole dance class at BM for the past three years."

Ah. but the question still stands. Are your breasts real?

I was loving the pole dancing comp a few years ago. It was one on my favorite events.

While having a pole at your camp may help to encourage people to dance, it also promotes lots of lecherous spectators, shirtcockers and lookie-loos.

I'm curious if those camps that offer people the chance to strip are doing anything about the folks who do nothing but show up and take pictures.

What is a shirtcocker?
Rob the bank, give the money to the poor, then steal from the poor and shoot the money.......or something like that.

Being a veteran of many a New Orleans Mardi Gras and fully aware of the hazards of lecherous, context-clueless nonparticipant perverts raiding a good time to add photos to their spank-bank, I'm wondering:

Is this a -growing- occurrence at BM?

What are some suggestions that can be done in a free society where being a costumeless, sweat-stained slob in a jock-strap with three cameras around your neck aimed at anything that looks like a naked female can be considered radical free expression?

We had a Mardi Gras vet/BM virgin who wanted to camp with us, just couldn't wait to sling his beads and "make girls flash their tits" at our bar. I told him that expecting somebody to flash their tits for beads at Burning Man is like wearing a Halloween costume to a Christmas party; the laughter you will get is not the kind that is likely to make you feel good about yourself.

I will have a striper pole unlike any ever seen before, come to radio electra at ego & 6:00 to find out what it is and gifts of 5 gallon or bigger propane tanks for a show will be greatly appreciated. I need at least 10 gallons of propane a day.

4 stripper poles bro

Post by Bitterman » Sat Aug 06, 2005 7:23 pm

Woo HOO! Spring Break Bro!! Woo Hoo! Let's git fucked up! Woo Hoo!

Yeah! That's exactly what burning man needs, more 45 year old looser men with no pants, belly open golf shirts, red faced and slipping roofies till dawn. At camp date rape last year they had FOUR poles bro. It'll be easy to find them. Just look for the art car platform with four erect penis looking towers, because in case you didn't know it, "hey man, I paid 20 large to a guy to build me that art car... and those are cocks." Duuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh.

The sad truth is, THAT camp was quiet almost every night. Bwaaa Haaaa Haaa! Bwaaaa Haaa Haaa Haaa Haaaaa! Ha!

(i'm done)
Bah! Psshhh!

What does that have to do with stripper poles?

Why come at him/her/it with a vengeance? Has that person offended you?

I think the more important question is: Any camps with strippers?

Seriously. I'm not sure how threats of confrontation or physical violence (so much for radical self-reliance...expect "burly friends" to do it for you) got into this thread, but perhaps people should keep their personal issues to themselves rather than hijacking a discussion by threatening thuggery if people ...whatever...

As a rule, it's a bad idea to volunteer somebody ELSE'S ass to get potentially beaten or killed 'cause of your own hangups, especially when there's not even an actual apparent threat to your safety.
