Jaw Articulation and Digitigrade Legs

I'm looking for information on how to make an animal mask with an articulated jaw. Has anyone done that?

Also, I saw some folks with wonderful, energy-return digitigrade stilts on the Playa and at the SF Decomp a few years ago. Are they still around? Are they on this board?
