color changing LED

Post by timburly » Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:24 pm

I am looking for some color changing LED's. I know they exist out there. I need an LED that has an IC built in to the led so it runs through the colors on its own. I don't want to use a controller for this project and I need each LED to be doing its own thing.

Anyone know of any good suppliers out there?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the reply, not quite what i'm looking for though. I need all three colors in a single led "case" and also with its own microprocessor to run the individual LED through various colors. So it will have two leads and all that is done is power applied to it. No need for external controller.

On another note, i was curious about the cubatron and the website was helpfull :)

I was gifted a set of the lights for helping out.. Just got them this week.. Very cool, still trying to figure out what to do with them...
