hey tool, what the fuck is wrong with making magic happen last minute. I produced uber successful camps 03, 04 & 05 to the tune of one months prep each year (12-18 hour days) & a combined personal expenditure of $35k - all camps had private swimming pools.

this year i happened to wait til the last minute and wanted to have a different experience with less responsibilities.

If your only fun in life is expecting people to always be positive toward you on a forum, maybe you've had too much of that playa dust. Mmmm, playa dust.

No one made personal attacks against you. The closest thing would be the "uninformed" comment, which is completely accurate. This year, as you know, they are giving out passes. Most people that I know had to cut key people from their camps who have also made large personal contributions of money and time and have a lot of work to do once they hit the playa. I know a girl who's considering jumping ship near the gates with 2 days of supplies and hoping someone entering will read her sign and take her with them and their extra pass. She did not realize that, when it came down to it, one of her camps few passes would not end up in her hands, and there is not much she can do about it.

You see the "uninformed" comment was accurate. If you explained your situation and why you need the passes more than the other people who did plan ahead and just got the short end of the stick, maybe you'd receive a better reception from posters. Explaining that you don't care about the ones that did plan ahead because you don't think you should have to be responsible in your planning will probably not win you any favors.
