semi truck windsheild shades
Last year I saw someone who covered their dome in those aluminum window shades. They said they got the ones used for semi trucks that were nice and big and they put them all together and added a swamp cooler. It was awesome.
Last year we built a dome which we were all very proud of, but this year we want to spruce it up even more.
Does anyone know where I could find those semi truck sized window shades?
Thanks!

Yes, truckstops. Love's, Pilot, Flying J, TA ... almost always in stock in summer.
Mylarry has a number of them, when truckers quit and clean out their trucks they toss them into the company dumpster. I don't think he's paid for any of his. We have sleeping bags out the ears lately too; three in three weeks, plus coats, blankets and milk crates.

I am contemplating getting a couple of rolls of that from Home Depot and covering the outside of the camper with it. It is surprisingly well insulated already, but every little bit will help for sleeping in late this year.LeChatNoir wrote:You can also get it in bulk from this place.

If you happen to be in Joplin, Missouri...go to the Petro Station. Is the Toys'r'us for truckers.
