planning my 2nd year
looks like i will be returning to BRC this year. it will only be my second year and looks like my planner for last year isn't coming with me so i was trying to figure out where i am camping and all that. last year ludo was kind enough to help us out so that may be an option this year as well. I will be bringing some first timers with me and would like to have a game plan. I can put together the supplies since i have been before but other than that i dont really know where to start. if it would be easier i was wondering if we could join a camp and share resources.. as i may be in need of a shade structure if i can't find one before then. anyone have any advice or ideas for a second timer.

Many theme camps repeat year after year, so check the burningman.com list of 08 camps for one that matches your philosophy and/or geography, and then the 09 when it updates...
Or with enough of you, just camp together as an unregistered mini-theme (or themeless) camp.
Some packing lists are available at http://burningmanchicago.ning.com/page/ ... d-survival and with a group, you can divy up the common tools, and chip in together on a shade structure...
