Meed - Carport frame only
Looking for a single carport frame only. I have tarps. Any ideas?

You might try this:
"Our kits include high quality steel joint fittings, heavy duty tarps and ball ties. Foot pads are optional.
Note: Due to the high cost of shipping we do not include tubing. This can be purchased readily at a local supplier."

I think you could order just what you need from them (the joints), get the rest locally (and possibly used at a place that recycles/resells metal tubing), and use your existing tarp.

It's what you make it.

Not sure why i never thought to do this........ put the ad in on friday and got two carport frames about 1.5 inches in diameter for $40. They are not nearly as heavy duty as the costco ones but for my purposes they will be great.oneeyeddick wrote:Run an ad on Craigslist saying you will pay someone $40 for thier old , torn carport frame(s).
Lotsa trailor trash responded and I had 3 carport frames for $110 total in only 2 days (Seattle area).
