Burning on a budget

Post by Jackass » Thu Jun 24, 2010 9:32 am

Flea markets, swap meets, junk/yard/garage sales

I bring this up because I believe alot of people just over look it.
These places are great for picking up shopping list items along with the unique and flat out weird stuff that one may need to "decorate". The cost of such items are minimal in the event that they get thrashed you need not worry, and such merchants are always willing to negotiate on their pricing. If you start early you can come up a ton of cool stuff for cents on the dollar.
BM on a budget, it can be done!!

It's worked for me and can work for you too!!!
Sooner or later, it will get real strange...

I have a budget for Burning Man. Unfortunately it is about $5000. And no, I am not kidding.

Don't forget your local Dollar Store. I go there for my first aid accoutrement, hand sanitizer, spare goggles, work gloves, bandannas and dust masks, blinkies and a litany of other sundries.
