Share a Piano Keyboard?

Post by amyobenski » Fri Aug 06, 2010 5:11 pm

I have a performance at Center Camp Wednesday morning at 9:30am. Is anyone bringing out a good keyboard to the Playa and willing to share? If so, please get in touch with me. I'm bringing out a guitar and am willing to share that...

Thanks,

Look for the thread in the art and performance 2010 called "Play=a Pianna" (or something like that.) You might be able to negotiate for a piano. Then all you'd need was a player.

That would be me. I will indeed have a portable piano. But it is mounted on a small trailer that I am pulling behind a four-person pedal-vehicle. I'm worried that the piano-on-a-trailer may not fit inside Center Camp.

And this piano does not likely fit the description of "good".

But I think I could bring this piano to Center Camp that morning.

Yeah, I need it to be in tune. So it's best if it's a keyboard and it has to fit on the Center Camp stage. I'm guessing a piano will be out of tune by Wednesday and really difficult to get on stage.

Oh wait. I see it's a portable piano. Basically I need it to be 77-88 key in length and sound somewhat like a piano and have a sustain pedal.

Sorry. It is a real, heavy-as-all-heck piano, mounted on wheels. Getting it up on a stage is not likely. And tuning will be a bit random, yes. Well, it was a thought. Good luck!
