San Diego work space needed

So I want to build a giant palm tree, lit up with neon and EL, for our camp. Its trunk will be really big. Think telephone pole. I have nowhere I could build it. I have my own tools so it doesn't need to be a "shop".

If any one in SD knows of some place it would be super helpful.
