Spike's 2005 - What do you want?
Spike's 2005 - What do you want?
Spike's Vampire bar will be back on the playa in 2005. What changes would you like to see? What would you like to remain the same?

I think Spike's is awesome. Stick to your vision and make it even better. You are an awesome bar so focus on being the very very best bar ever. What I liked most about Spike's was just the atmosphere. It was a very comfortable and fun place to be. Maybe make it a little bigger because I think you might have more of a turnout in 05. Maybe open up a little earlier. I only got around to that part of the playa once during "business hours". I was in the area a couple of times more but you were closed.

dark and scary are good things
The whole "no windows/red beverage/open late" thing was great.....I vote for more of that! (oh, and the Extra Action Marching Band doing their Black Sabbath set)

Barmaids
Nothing is better than hearing kewl Industrial Music at Spikes. But, for 2005 I think you guys need some female vampire Barmaids.
Yay!
It's great to see that Spike's will be back in 2005. I was so delighted to find it in 2004. I wanna be a barmaid! I even have a pair of fangs floating around here somewhere from my goth days.
Did anything ever end up happening with the vampire theatre props or whatever they were outside? It seemed like something was supposed to happen there, possibly.

I was thinking of finding a bunch of kitten Beanie Babies to do just that...Grizelda wrote:Kitten poker. A game played much like regular poker, but with kittens instead of poker chips. Plush kittens. With little numbers on them indicating their point value.
Buffy: (shocked) "you play for KITTENS?!?"
Demon: (annoyed) "They're tasty."

rodent (putting the eek in geek)
We could both bring kittens. Everybody could bring kittens! I kinda think it would be more fun if the kittens were varied. The larger kittens could be worth more points, perhaps. More 'meat' in them. My mother browses second hand stores as a hobby, so she may be quite amused to undertake a kitten acquisition mission (say that 5 times fast!).
