industrial/dark trance camps??

Postby kane » Mon May 30, 2005 10:23 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows of any camps who play the more industrial /ebm stuff?
I didn't hear much of it last year and was hoping to find more this year.

Did you try the camps at 10 and 2. The large scale sound art is located out there. I heard a lot of Industrial out there at times.

greeting my friend!

I did spend some time out there, but found I heard mostly electronica/techno stuff. Was hoping to find something with a little more vocals. Something like VNV Nation.

Find "Spike's Vampire Bar" this year. Goth/industrial/ebm/darkwave with a little bit of punk and metal thrown in. From VNV to Siouxie to Wumpscut to Portisehead to The Misfits to Depeche Mode.

You could always create your own, seems like something some people would like.

The one and only!!

Do you think "Carn Evil" can play some industrial or dark wave??
Or will that be too much pleasure for one camp???

I'd like to say yes, but I kinda can't. Here's why...

First, it's usually played loud, which we DON'T want, especially in our camp. We need to keep an "atmosphere" the best we can. Cool romantic Goth, and maybe some type of elavator type for the "Doctors Office" lounge. VERY Disturbing. LOL

Basicall, we need to be in as quiet a spot as we can get, and we've requested that from Staff. TLP and Image Node did the same due to our themes.

We're not a music camp. Besides, how can Industrial get/keep people in the mood for what we're doing.

Sorry.

gotta disagree with dna on this one, i personaly think some skinny puppy or 16 volt would be perfect, also disturbing music played softly is truely a nonsequeter
