Lake Lahontan Yacht Club back from the dust

Postby Commodore Curt » Fri Jul 22, 2005 4:14 pm

Lake Lahontan Yacht Club and the Black Rock Oar House are back again and looking for several waterminded souls to fill out our camp. Looking for sailors and mermaids and parrotheads and hula ladies. This is one of the most laid back camps on the playa, known for our famous drinks on the pier at sunset.

Very Bad Santa will be visiting again this year so if you want a chance to have your picture taken on or over Santa's knee, come see us.

Take a look at http://www.lakelahontan.org and drop us a line

The UN Peacekeepers will be by to ensure your waters are free of Indonesian Pirates, Amazon Estuary Raiders, and all other Waterborne
Adversaries. Welcome back...

You are in violation of International Security Resolution BM/2005. Prepare for Sanctions...

We still deny any allegations as to our possession of weapons of Mast Destruction and invoke our rights under the Shriners Convention.

in answer to your questions

Postby Commodore Curt » Mon Aug 15, 2005 6:31 am

A couple of people have emailed me, asking what sort of dues and other obligations we are asking from folks who want to camp with us. No cash dues this year. We are asking that everybody donate to the bar. We are asking people to try to find a comfortable place in our laid back camp, pitch in where they can and feel like it, and help leave the place as spotless as we find it.

And have a wonderful time.

Peace, love and playa dust,

Commodore

Anyone know if the Lake Lahontan YC is still around? It looked like a fun camp.

If it will make you feel better, I'll let you shave this drunken sailor's belly with a rusty razor

Have you heard anything new on the status of their lawsuit?
(I'm hoping this is the big ship art car that was destroyed while in storage.)

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.
