LA Burners In Need of A Camp

Post by dav725 » Tue Aug 09, 2005 9:08 pm

Our camp just dissolved (just like that) and a few LA Burners (repeat Burners that is...no one has to take care of us)...need a camp. We are fun, outgoing, easy going, often going, always going group of guys and gal (3 of us). 2 of us are massage healers. Wanting to contribute in every which way. Looking for a camp with not too much drama, some responsibilities but not TOO many. If you have a camp that is still open please let me know.

Hey Dav725

We are coming in from Long Beach. Come and join the Alternative Energy Zone www.ae-zone.org , we are the largest theme camp on the playa, and the quietest since there are no noisy fuel burning generates allowed, just the occasional whoosh of a wind generator. There are no camp fees and you can participate as much or as little as you like. Your massage skills will make you quit popular, I’m sure my wife will probably want to move in with you. We have pot lucks and some fun resident theme camps and we don’t feel as large as we look. If interested just check out our website and e-mail our mayor Jolly Roger with your request. He will work you into our camp map, so when you arrive you will have a nice little plot of land all staked out for you. Unless you get to the event early, in which case I’m sure any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

space at The Therapeutic Mind Scan

Post by Mind Scan » Sun Aug 14, 2005 5:43 pm

The Therapeutic Mind Scan camp, 2500 sq ft. in the prime location of Catharsis and 5:30, seeks pariticpants to join us and help "run" the Therapeutic Mind Scan. It's more fun than work, playing 'doctors' seating people at the console and telling them to push the big red button. Mostly greeting visitors and keeping an eye on the installation (lots of
electronics). The Mind Scan is under a shade structure.

No fees but you'd need to arrive on Tuesday to hold the space for a day.

send me an email if you're interested or want more info.

Final call for campers -- Playground (formerly The GLOM).

Located at 3:30 on the Esplanade.

Why camp with us? Because you'll have a lot of fun in a high-intensity Esplanade Theme Camp, which is the home of some great attractions for grown-up's:
  • * gASSo, a full-service Ass station, with:
    • - Orgasmatron,
      - Spank-o-Matic, and
      - Flaming Propane Enemas
      - Bondage Wall
    * The Chairway-to-Heaven, a 4-story elevator,
    * 40' Teeter-Totter (new this year).
    * Dancing Minions (anatomically-correct and fully-animated)
    * The BASS (Big Ass Shade Structure) and bar
    * Dual-table massage studio
    * Home camp for The Burning Band
Co-located with The Q, which is hosting the bar and giving away 500 lbs of pork sandwiches at lunch.

Dues are $25, or $50 with 24/7 electricity from ConGLOMerated Edison.

Six 2-hour work-shifts required, but it will the most fun you ever had doing something you got to call work.

We still have some space, but noon Monday (8/22) is our final deadline for new campers.
