I'll be returning to Ice-9 for my fourth year as a Snow Miser. Always the highlight of my Burn (I think I'll likely have a shift scheduled everyday of the event.) and I always return from my shifts in a euphoric stupor. Looking forward to seeing of all of my fellow penguins soon!

I heard from Gentle yesterday as I had put some mixed up info on my volunteer form. She just told me schedule will be out soon :mrgreen:

i'm a little embarrased to say this was my plan all along..Figment and I aren't working Ice officially this year but might crash a shift or two "if needed and welcome of course) including the eplayan Tues 9-12 shift mwwhahahaha

About the ePlaya shift Tuesday 9-Noon at Ice3....
Looks like there may be a vacancy. There is one slot for a Pusher that just shows "ePlaya", no person's name.

Sure hope there will be somebody to teach us the jobs! :shock:
I see there are three who work the same shift Monday so will have three hours experience.

This will be great! :D

No worries Elliot, its all really easy.

I also noticed that they have G-dawg (graidawg) down for Monday, but not Tuesday. Maybe we need to get G-dawg moved over to Tuesday... Technically he is part of ePlaya.

When I saw the schedule a couple of hours ago,
I called her to point out that they're still signed up.
She then emailed to Gentle. :D

So, that opens up two choices for Grai!! :mrgreen:

TG- you greet people waiting in line for ice and direct them to the next available cashier. You keep the masses controlled so they don't all rush the cashiers. It's fun! I'm a slinger :mrgreen:

Especially the Monday and Wednesday shifts. They are both early enough in the week that its not super dupper busy. It will give you a ton of time to chit chat and relax.
