A unique and distinctive culture emerges from the Burning Man experience. Rooted in the values expressed by the Ten Principles, this culture is manifested around the globe through art, communal effort, and innumerable individual acts of self-expression. To many, it is a way of life.

Are you a bona fide piano tuner who's going to the Burn? Or do you know one?

We're the Whiskey and Whores Saloon, a staple of NYC's Asylum Village for the past several years. This year we had to get a new piano, and she's gonna need some love! She left NYC last Saturday to make the long, slow, hot journey to the Playa via the New York burner shipping container. By the time she completes this two-week journey and arrives on the Playa, chances are she's gonna be hot and stiff and a good whole-note flat!!!

Whiskey and Whores performers are notoriously adaptable--and our audience is always drunk--but it'd be nice to at least get the thing sort of in tune with itself.

We're looking for someone who can bring their tuning gear to the Playa and help us out as soon in the week as possible. In return, that talented saint will get a coveted WHORE shirt, souvenir matches, and two Whiskey and Whores shotglasses good for bottomless shots at the Whiskey and Whores saloon in BRC *AND* New York City FOREVER!!!! Hell, we may even be able to throw in some extra-fun perks from one or two of our gorgeous whores ;) And if there's something else ya need, hell, go ahead and ask--we aim to please!

If you can help, please write Nicole--our Stage Ho--at:

pass it on!
