greeting shifts!
Hi There - has anyone else had problems getting a response re greeting shifts? I have done the volunteer form and email both dragon and granny, but with no response....
Try going to the greeter schedule page and requesting shifts (if you haven't already). Here's the link: http://greeters.messopottage.com/
Granny is in charge of the schedule so I would send him another note after you request shifts.

Okay, been wondering...
Why are virgins encouraged to sign up for Greeter shifts? Wouldn't it make sense to have folks who've, say, got a CLUE, doing that, vs., "Hi! Welcome home! I don't know Jack, but, um, go have fun!"
Someone had the idea of volunteering for the Post Office, which seemed to make a lot of sense for newbies. Or filling Porta-Potty hand sanitizers. Putting up signage. Not getting the Greeter rationale...

Better to use that enthusiasm for good, or at least limited irritation factor, rather than have all the greeters be bitter vets...

Could somebody please post Granny's email address? My girlfriend and I would like to volunteer for greeter shifts, and although we have submitted requests on the day the schedule began, we are sadly watching our shift requests get filled up by others. How do I contact Granny? What is her email? Please help.
Thank you

As a birgin when I see the greeters, I think I'll bounce up and down in my chair. But if I was a greeter this year, I'd probably sound bitter just because I'd be nervous. What if someone asked me anything? My response would be "I don't know." And it would be the truth.
We break to remind us how to mend.
