Who would like to work in Winnemucca?

A unique and distinctive culture emerges from the Burning Man experience. Rooted in the values expressed by the Ten Principles, this culture is manifested around the globe through art, communal effort, and innumerable individual acts of self-expression. To many, it is a way of life.

Who would like to work in Winnemucca?

Winnemucca is a small town of about 7,000 surrounded by rangeland. It is on mighty I-80.

The BLM office governing the event is there. Sometimes they have jobs like:

(Google search for BLM jobs Winnemucca Nevada)

I think it is still open, but it is not showing on the usajos.gov website. In the future there could be a project manager-type job. And they always need firefighters; that's the new West, sadly.

It would be ideal for an individual early in their career in supply chain, vendor contracts, accounting etc. who is highly organized, is comfortable with a dynamic environment, and is more excited than prone to frustration applying creativity within a federal agency.

It probably wouldn't hurt for more burners to move to that town or telecommute from there to put a human face to the event.
