Found Sunday night. ID some pictures or what it had with it or something and it can get back to you.

My camera was an Optio S 50 but I am responding anyway.

I believe I lost it somewhere on 3:00 Between the portapotties and Hysteria.

There were pictures of the Spanish Galleon just before sunset and movies of the Bicycle Blimp in the afternoon.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Hmm, don't think it's yours...it's a 5i and the pics don't seem the same...

Regardless, I thank you for you honesty. It reaffirms my faith in playa people.

Hello,
I wonder if the camera you found is ours...
My girlfriend and I lost a BRAND NEW PENTAX OPTIO S5i CAMERA & (2) SD CARDS on the Playa sometime after the Temple Burn. It was stored in a small dark blue (almost metallic) zippered case with a black neck strap. If ours is the one you found, we can be reached at 303-433-7873
Regardless, thank you for taking the time (and being honest enough) to seek out it's original owner.
Namaste

Sean - Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !!!

I know we already talked... I just wanted to post this entry so that anyone who might pursue this thread would be inspired to know that Burning Man people are a perfect example of what IS POSSIBLE !!!

My girlfriend & I had waited on the playa until Tuesday in hopes that our two bikes (which were "barrowed" while lying on top of each other in front of center camp) might be recovered. They were pretty nice bikes, so we weren't that surprised when they weren't.

When we returned home and discovered that our camera was missing, we were really dissappointed and started to feel somewhat jaded about Burning Man. The bicycle experience had left us highly doubtful of ever recovering it.

After some time passed, we started to release our skepticism. This is Burning Man, after all. Anything IS possible...

And so last night I decided to go through the whole process of searching through the ePlaya Lost & Found bulletin board, then registering and posting yet another "Lost Camera" entry.

I was elated when Sean called me today and together we confirmed that the camera he found is ours.

Burning Man - which is the people who make it up - is what's possible.

i lost an optio on sunday...

many pictures of some metal trees in front of the Black Rock Arts foundation camp in center camp. I built the trees. Also many of fire spinning, which I also do.
