Lost iPhone

If it has a charger, maybe a little screen, fits on your pocket or turns on and off, this is probably the category you want to try to get it back.

Lost iPhone

Post by psylens » Mon Sep 10, 2007 4:19 pm

If you're reading this, hopefully you have a dusty iPhone in your possession and are looking for its stupid owner.

It is pretty non-distinct until you turn it on - i only had it for barely a week and a half before losing it and hadn't personalized its exterior yet. Unfortunately, i don't know if there's a place on the phone where you can look to see who it belongs to, or even to look up the phone number that it was associated with. However i can describe the contacts, web history, songs, etc.

If you have one and can't turn it on, the battery is dead - it can be recharged using a modern iPod charger cable (3rd generation? )

I have disconnected service to it.

In case you're wondering:
I was riding my bike to the trash fence on the first monday night to catch the lunar eclipse party(s) and was riding quite fast when i hit a dust dune and biffed pretty hard. I "came to" on my back, laying in the dune watching the lunar eclipse. I laughed, got up and continued my journey at a mellower pace with sore shoulder (it's still sore, in case you're wondering). I wish i had thought about the phone before leaving, as i think it's most likely it fell out of my pocket when i crashed.

Anyways, I sure hope somebody found it - otherwise it's a rather expensive playa fossil.

thanks,
.psylens (aka, that dumbass who brought an iPhone into the deep playa and lost it)

The sunny side -
with the price reduced $200 and a $100 gift certificate from Uncle Steve for being an early adopter, you can get a replacement for nearly half what the first one cost! :P
