Found Bike at 6:55 and Guess

Hi!

On Sunday night around 8pm, my GF and I had packed up everything into our car and left a white bike parked beside it around 6:55 and Guess. When we got back we discovered that our white bike was missing and in its place was a blue bike.

Most everybody else around that area had already packed up and left so we had to face a couple possibilites:

1) Assume the white bike was "stolen" by person A. Assume person B, totally unrelated to party A, dropped off their bike by our car.

2) Assume the white bike was "stolen" or "damaged" and replaced with a blue bike by the same person.

I decided that option #2 was the most likely but we risked "stealing" a bike from person B. If this is the case, TOTALLY SORRY! Write me a note with the description of your blue bike and I'll either get it back to ya or try to financially recompensate ya.

Correction: Bike grey not blue

Correction to the earlier post. It is/was a grey bike, not a blue bike.

Hi - my bike was stolen on the night of the burn. It's a blue diamondback, womens, 16" frame, the plastic on the right shifter got melted, so it’s distorted and deformed but works (or did the last time I saw it). The seat has a shock. It's a hybrid street/mountain bike. Please let me know if this describes the bike that you have. My tele # is 510-594-7733.
Thanks!

i got my grey mountain bike boosted from centercamp the morning before the burn. we went way back that bike & me. clearly not enough to lock it. but i was too trusting. to blissed out. perhaps a bit ignorant too, yes.

but it was a grey gary fisher, yellow shock forks, empty computer slot on the handlebars, and a blackflys sticker on the frame. make-shift mini-mag-lite for night riding.

mine is more silver than gray

my bike was a cheap kmart bike green and silver. It had big apehanger handlebars, a gel seat, and a rack with el wire. this probably isn't it, but it's worth a try.
