We packed a silver bike with pink fur with us early Monday morning. It had been abandoned for a good day and a half at our camp and seemed unlikely to be reclaimed. It is safe and sound in Sacramento now and will be lovingly cleaned and repaired alongside my stable of bikes.

this sounds quite close to a friend's missing bike. Silver, with black/white stripes and pink seat/fur.
