Dear Professor Melamed -

I have three Olympus Stylus cameras in the lost and found inventory from Burning Man 2007, but none of them are your model 7.0

I understand why you believe your camera was reported found. Unfortunately you --- and first a young woman named "Nicola" --- responded to a lost Stylus camera post from the previous year (2006).

It is difficult to see where one year's posts end, and another's begins. I have tried to remedy this problem by prefacing all my current post subjects with "2007"

There is something more you can do. I am the custodian of only the lost and found items that were turned in to our "Playa Info" location at Burning Man in Center Camp. However the Burning Man community at large has recovered many additional items. You should add your camera's description to the ePlaya category of gadgets lost on the playa:

Perhaps someone else found your camera and can help you recover it?
