2016 BM Virgin looking for a home on the Playa

Greetings from Alaska!

I'm trying to get to BRC for my 40th birthday next summer and am looking for a camp to join.

I am a hairdresser in the frigid north, an advocate for patients with chronic illness, and a hermit free spirit at heart.

Because of health issues, I am looking to volunteer in a capacity that isn't heaving on physical labor. Some days are great, others are bad, and I never know what will set it off. That being said, I am certified with Alaska's alcohol management for responsible alcohol serving, as well as a great one on one conversationalist from years of counseling people while doing their hair.

If anyone has good advice about staying on the Playa, I'm very open to suggestions.

Stick around, join in the conversations. You can sometimes get a clue as to what some of us are like. Some of us are much nicer in person...

Doing so might help you weed out who you might like to camp with and who you wouldn't.

Raine, Welcome and do stick around and use this board. It is the best source for info. You can look at the boards from years past to get an idea of what kind of camps are out there. The camps aren't active online till a couple of months before the event. After you do a whole mess o' research, ask us a mess of questions.
