Welcome SRB. Buy the ticket, take the ride. Well, read up on the event first. There's quite a bit of prep to come to Burning Man for the first time. See the link below. You could also join your local regional group and make some good contacts for this life altering adventure. https://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/SRB wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 2:51 pmHello everyone!! my husband and I moved recently to Colorado Springs . For many years, tickets have sold out, but you may find them easier to get this year, due to a bit of wet weather last year.
There are lots of resources for you to read up on. I hope it works out for you both this year.
See you in the dust.

Welcome!
Colorado has a lot of burners, and a number of different local events. I highly recommend you get involved in your local community and participate in some of the regional events.

Welcome to ePlaya!
Black Rock City outside Gerlach is the big burn. It is an extreme wilderness camping trip with 79,998 friends.
Mr Sham's links are how to learn how to survive and your regional Mr Papa Bear references https://regionals.burningman.org/region ... h-america/ are people to meet and ask questions.
You need to plan tickets, transportation, survival. I'm a fan of planning costumes/outfits/making interactions. I'm a fan of packing lists.
ePlaya has an internal search function for answered questions on shelter, shade, food, entry, exodus, volunteering and more.
You can participate!
