Welcome. My brother-in-law is coming from Blaricum, Netherlands. So that means at least two Dutchmen at BM 2010.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

No, I'm from Memphis, Tennessee in the usa.
You'll find people from everywhere on the playa.
I enjoy the Nederlands very much.
Feels almost like burning man.

Have you been watching the three part special on Dutch TV about Burning Man? The last part is next week.

Whatever you do, please don't read up on Burning Man before you go, or even make any plans.

It's not nice to spoil my fun. I love to hang out at the gate and roll around in the dust and laugh at prepared newbies.*

Man, I only live 200 miles away, and I prepare. A lot. I admire the balls it takes to come half way around the world on a plane with basically nothing. Or the complete lack of understanding about what you are getting yourself into.:) You all flying into Reno? Great place to get supplies. And I hear you can sometimes get a ride out from there. Do plan and then, welcome.

Welcome JosJanssen!
I agree with Tear Dropper, you and MisaBlue have some major cojones to fly around the world for this crazy adventure. I thought Denver was a long trech. The best of luck to both of you and I hope to find you on the Playa!

Okay - so, here's something for ya.....

Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky

A whole new world
Don't you dare close your eyes
A hundred thousand things to see
Hold your breath - it gets better
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back to where I used to be
.

Home is not where you live but where they understand you.
