We had 4-8 inches of snow around Denver Metro Area on Tuesday. Then oddly, yester day was in mid 60's. Today is supposed to get up to high 50's

I always think about consumerism...not what i want to buy, but about the shambles it has created. especially around this time of year. I just watched a great documentary by Adam Curtis called The Century of Self. Gives a history of psychoanalysis and its relationship with consumerism.

Yeah, it can be pretty daunting.
Especially after hearing all the "some one got beat up for an Xbox" reports right after Black Friday.

A sorta comical, but series look at Xmas consumerism is the Documentary "What Would Jesus Buy"
Another major subject of the movie is waste created by xmas. They talk alot about all the packaging and wrapping paper, and how it all ends up in a land fill for decades, just to be opened for an instant on xmas morning.
