For teeth, I have two options. The first is a regular toothbrush with a small rinse, grey water carried out. The second is a set of disposable toothbrush type appliances. They're called "wisps" and are available at most grocery stores.

I brush my teeth the regular way, but I use a spit bottle. Empty Powerade bottle usually, then it is packed out with the trash. Out and about? Yeah, floss or those little pointy brushy thingies, and a swish and spit (into a bottle, of course). Soft picks, I think is the brand name.

Grossest thing ever was a campmate who brushed and spit into the evap pan. Just no.

No. Emptying it into the portos fills up the potties and the pumper trucks too fast, and upsets the balance of the blue goo. There actually is a technical reason why not, and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Just spit in a used bottle, cap it tightly, and put it in your trash. MyLarry and I share the same spit bottle, and use it for about three days before it is too gross. Then we start a new one. "Honey, drink some Powerade so I can brush my teeth".

Or spit into the piss jug you're going to empty into the portos. Euw, but efficient.

You can spit into your evap pan, but it gets nasty-stinky, and you still may have to jug your greywater to haul it out. Evaps are not 100% effective.

All choices have something of a yuck factor. You just need to find the one you can deal with best.

Someone once suggested brushing your teeth IN the porto and spitting straight into the potty, but that scenario is so yuck I can't even fathom it.

I have to flush the toilet with the seat down for fear of toilet water molecules spraying all over my bathroom and getting on my toothbrush. I think brushing in a Porto is not for me. Lol.

BLEH! I hadn't thought of that! Although I HAVE made my peace with the fact that we all eat at least 7 spiders in our sleep a year and that there is an average of 6 bug legs in every bar of chocolate. GOTTA LOVE THAT EXTRA PROTEIN.

I camp a lot, about twice a month from May to October. It wasn't until my fifth burn that a wonderful eplayan taught me the easiest and what should have been the most obvious way to deal with brushing your teeth.

Just spit the foam right into your trash bag.
Rinse with minimum water and spit in the trash. Then rinse your brush with a bit of water over a paper towel, use the wet paper towel to finish cleaning your brush.
Leaves your trash smelling nice and minty too.
