Not sure who that is in the goggles on the left, but that's Big Cock, moi (eyes wide shut of course, and even more strangely, I have the best tan), The Sandman (straight out of Puddletown) and freakin' Bambi of Finland (L.A.'s finest) on the right.

That was taken at Doc's infamous and annual Meat & Greet, for dog's sake. Show me someone in that pic that doesn't look "wasted"!

Sweet pic, btw. Thanks fo' the memories.

That was taken at Doc's infamous and annual Meat & Greet, for dog's sake. Show me someone in that pic that doesn't look "wasted"!

Can't believe i motor functioned in an h into Nietzsche (well actually i can), have had to type out the way to many times.
Why the hell did that one guy throw out so many Nietzsche quotes? Seemed a tad pointless. Makes me wonder if that was out of a book the man(could be woman didn't actually check the profile) has or if it be a copy paste job. I lean on the copy paste side of the argument.

There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.
Friedrich Nietzsche

There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Oh I love this man to much I think. IF you ever want to feel like every moment is just building in intensity, excitement, and fear just commit your self to reading too much Nietzsche and believing it. It is beautifully horrifying in how much it makes you laugh at all that you do to make yourself feel safe, including believing in things you know to be lies.

I have to do this because a long list of short quotes does not do the man justice. This is a key theme of Nietzsche and something he considered to be one of his greatest achievements. It is the eternal reoccurrence, it is section 341 of "The Gay Science" I would give you also another quote that is amazingly poetic and a beautiful critique of the christian moral system but don't have that book on me at the time.

"What, if some day a demon were to steal after you in to your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and everything unutterably small or great in your life will have to return to you- even this spider and this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I myself. The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside down again and again, and you with it speck of dust!'
Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.' If this thought gained possession of you, it would change you as you are or perhaps crush you. The question in each and every thing, 'Do you desire this once and innumerable times more?' would lie upon your actions as the greatest weight. Or how well disposed would you have to become to yourself and to life to crave nothing more fervently than this ultimate eternal confirmation and seal?"

I was thinking about aesthetics and that I had never thought about the fact that it is not just talking about the visual pleasure(beauty) of something but also its smell, texture, and even our hearing. From here I was led to the realization that animals with no reflective capabilities would only have an aesthetic taste (like one would have good taste in art) while the human animal has an inner taste, an expressive taste, and what would seem to be an infinite possibility of tastes even though we work from the same aesthetic base as other animals. This may be why some people are so dull, lack depth, and why looking hard within ones self and exploring all sides of sensation(life) both pain and pleasure and both inner sensations(infinite) and outer sensations(also infinite) would make one interesting and the only way to develop a style to ones character.

This sounds reasonable and I agree that tastes are developed, but I am not convinced.
Animals may have a raw aesthetic that is simply alien to us.

It is suggested that what separates us from other animals is the genetic drive and the ability to pass on knowledge.
I think this is true.

"'Nietzsche is a Dead Man'.....

God."

Simon you perk my interest a tad because it seems like you actually mite have something to say. But then its just continual disappointment with a complete lack of anything to say.

If you ever get the chance book three sections 108, 109, and 110 go into extensive detail into what he meant when he said "god is dead".

Full quote from when he first says that is "After Buddha was dead, his shadow was still shown for centuries in a cave-a tremendous, gruesome shadow. God is dead; but given the ways of men, there may still be caves for thousands of years in which his shadow will be shown.-And we-we still have to vanquish his shadow, to."

He then goes on to how we deify nature and the universe and in many ways personify both and make them into a spiritual truth and how this is just another attempt at creating an image of the same christian god.

Well done, Grasshopper!"

To this mother fucker. I'm not trying to be intellectual I find the mans writing amazing and am thus sharing him with you all as a nugget of gold in what appears to be a massive amount of shit on the mental side of your lives (some of you not included).
Would you like me to talk about Plato, possibly Some John Mill, Epicteus, Foucault, Hegel, or Kant (hey most of those are old and are quite orthodox actually, hmmm)? I'm a fan of Max Weber at the moment he is also an amazing writer. Point is I have read all of these names I threw out there more than once and have an extensive amount of notes on them because I truly and deeply care about what they have to say, because it is my passion it is what I will be doing for the rest of my life. It's an infinite process, something I know I will never fully grasp, nor the generation after me and the one after that, till our lovely little species burns up and dies.

O another fun thing is that once again almost none of you actually respond to anything, do nothing but bitch, yet have nothing to say and still more of you post on here than any where else. So I got what I wanted which was a responses, but like I said earlier would be nice if some of them would be reflective and not just reactionary:).
Have a lovely day bitches and you know who you are.

p.s. don't really like existentialism all that much though they make some good platform points to jump off of.

I apologize to those who have put some thought into your comments, I just get immensely annoyed by those who don’t actually say anything constructive because if you really do have a complaint fucking articulate it in a way that I can do something about it or fuck off. You’re a waist of life and you are sucking more of it out of those who mite have a chance of cultivating some for themselves. Thats not fair I guess because your always hopefully contributing life to something even if its in your lack of it.
