I am very happy to finally experience the Burn in person! I am originally from Poland, spent 10 years in Los Angeles and I am currently based in Detroit, MI.
This month I am also starting a 2 year journey around the US in a minivan and the Burning Man will be the first major stop.

I would like to join and contribute to a camp that is right for me, a camp that I am right for and one that will accept me. I will be useful and helpful. I like working with a community of people for the common enjoyment.

Another option is to camp out solo. A tempting challenge.

I have a ticket and one vehicle pass. I can offer carpooling option. Will be driving from Michigan - any Michigan burners interested? Or any on the way to Nevada?

Hi Beautiful People,

Me and my Husband will be first timers/virgins at 2015 BM. We are from Boston area. Love a perfect mix of being traditional, bi-lingual, and contemporary at the same time. Think out of the box when it comes to the creative side. We'll be renting RV, so not many camps would want to host us... or, we cannot find the right camp for some reason (maybe you can help? we need a HERO!)

So, my first and foremost question is: What happens if we are not assigned in advance to any camp? Where do we park? do we need to contact/sign up for a space in advance? we do (of course, have tickets, vehicle pass, and a bunch of freebies with BM logo...)

I would appreciate any help.

Kind of a re-introduction here. Making my preparations for my first Burning Man this year and I'm really stoked I'm finally able to go after many years of wanting to. Either work money or time always got in the way, but this year is a winner got my ticket & VP.

A little bio about yours truly, born in Wash St. lived in NJ grew up in Florida.
I'm soggy kind of dude, spent most of my life in, on, or underwater. My last official job was as a SCUBA instructor/divemaster in the Turks & Caicos Is. Before that I was a United States Merchant Mariner for 17 years with the Seafarers International Union & NOAA.
The current and best job now is taking care of the best parents ever. They lived aboard a sailboat for 23 years and sailed from FL and as far as Australia, got to make a bunch of great voyages with them on my time off from the ships. Between work vacations and visiting the folks I've been to over 50 different countries. Now we're all adjusting to the landlubber life.
My reasons for going to BM are manifold most of all is to meet some great people and involve myself as best I can in the BM experience. Part of it is celebration too (turning 50 Oct. 1, and also my weight loss journey this year -95 lbs so far). All 70,000 of you are my party guests.
I will be camping solo so I'm just going to let the dust lead me where it will.
I plan to gift what and where I can, am more than happy to help anyone with anything I'm able to do. I've accumulated a wide range of skills in my wacky life (just don't ask me to write computer code, can just about find the power button on mine).

Your best bet for finding a ticket is likely to get involved with your local burner community; I imagine there are many last-minute things that could use a hand, depending on where you are located.

With '09, '10 and '11 under my belt, and a three year rest, I am gratefully returning to the playa this year with the Sacred Spaces Village! Happy to be embarking on this journey in such a way that I really feel I will be honoring my needs and taking great care of myself while exploring and expanding my heart and mind.

My intentions include anchoring in a daily discipline of self-care including meditation, and connecting to my source of guidance, so that I may be guided from that place and find myself in the harmonious, synchronistic rhythm and flow articulated by Rumi. I'm really looking forward to being of service to the community, smaller and greater, and thusly contributing to the culture we are co-creating. I believe what we do on the playa ripples out and can have a major influence on our global culture at large, and so, to engage and play with all of you in such a potent environment is soooo exciting!

Truly, we are blessed to be living in such a time, where this event is not only possible, but happening, ad continuing to get better, year after year!
