Hello,
2008 will be my first BM. I will be rolling in as part of my tour of the west on my trusty motorcycle (F650GS). 7 days of supplies loaded onto the bike should be fun.
About me:
Technologist
DJ (all forms of electronica)
Tai Chi Instructor
Sommelier
I would love to hook up with any theme camps that I could put my talents to use.

You can say that again Dan.
Welcome home Ronin. The search function is your friend. It will be tons of fun trying to pack enough water down to the playa on your bike but there are people that do it or they have folkst that help them out. Search around see what you can dig up.
Remember to read the survival guide over and over. That is your new bible.

Yes, Tai Chi lessons are definitely a go.
I already read the survival guide, and have previous desert camping under my belt.
The search function yielded a few good suggestions:
1.) Find a local Denver contact to help haul the water.
2.) Hook up with fellow burners at the store in Empire and see if they can carry water the last mile.
3.) Melt Ice. (kinda my backup plan all along)
Worse case, pay the $20 re-entry and fill my 2 35 liter (9 gallon) panniers with water.
