looking forward to getting home...
Get over it? When I get over it I figgure I'll stop going. :)
My seventh burn this year and I'm still humming, "I've got a golden ticket," which has been going through my mind since I got picked up my ticket. I can't think of anything but the burn. If I'm not planning my packing or costumes I'm worrying about the ways that this burn will be different, remembering great times from past burns, chewing on problems for this one, checking e-playa far too often, and otherwise being consumed by the event. As usual.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Took me a year to get over it. Just try not to go with expectations..thats the best way to approach th gates. Take the first 24 hours on the playa to acclimate.
Yeah, that's right. Pretty good advice.
I had a panic attack the first night. After that, I spent the rest of the time wishing that Black Rock City was a permanent place where I could live for the rest of my life.
It's the most fun ever-ever. You'll love it.
