Hi there!

Just attended my first burner event, the Chicago-Detroit Decompression, and I had a very nice time... met some great people, saw some wonderful things, just overall had a blast.

I'm living in Chicago with my husband and two cats and I think that we have our lovers on board with us for next year on the playa. It'll be the first time for the four of us! Now I just have to grow a pair...

No, really... the idea doesn't seem that scary. Just foreign. And like home at the same time, if that makes sense.

Sounds like it will be just one big happy family!

I'm sure you know the greeting when you arrive at the gate: "Welcome Home!"

Ha! Got that "welcome home" at Decomp leaving the check in to pitch tent. And the way people would wave on our way in, and the way they would wave good bye as we left.

I'm going to have a good time, I'm sure.
