Hello All!

Post by floan » Tue Oct 28, 2008 8:37 am

Hello there free spirits!!

I'm Floan. I'm a 20 year old female from Philadelphia, PA. I attend college full time at a Penn State satellite campus. In my free time I love to dance and make costumes and jewelry. I have never been to Burning Man but desperately want to go. I'm very active in my local rave communities and have been trying to become involved in my local Burner community but recently they have switched the Philadelphia events over to being 21+ from what I understand (which sucks, quite frankly.)

Any advice for how to get involved in other local burner communities? Thanks all! :)

Welcome! I had the same problem recently, they have a halloween-time event here I was hoping to go to, but it's 21+

But there are still lots of stuff that they do that I can attend. You should check to see where your regional burn is, it shouldn't be 21+ I don't think. But... I'm not the best to give advice, I'm not involved in our community yet either

Floan, self-admitted ravers are relegated to the satellite BRC location in Gary, Indiana, which has a surplus of old industrial buildings. You'll still need goggles and mask, but not for dust, for the smog. Have fun

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Hi there, welcome to eplaya.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I grew up in Philly, we always went up to NYC for clubs. Being under 21 shouldn't be too much of a problem if you dress for sucess. Just walk past the line and act like you own the joint. If one club shoots ya down just move on to the next one.

Never underestimate the power of going clubbing clad in an adult diaper and doc martins.
